SAMBA, Dec 19: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized five dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material. Police teams headed by SHO PS Ghagwal, Incharge of Police Posts Supwal & Mansar of PS Samba and Incharge Police Post Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized five dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21C-2988, JK02CG-2974, JK21G-6049, JK21D-9880, JK21G-7597 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area. The above-mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action. |
