Chief Minister releases NABARD’s state focus paper 2026-27

Dehradun, Dec 23: On December 23, 2025, during the Sahkarita Mela 2025 organized by NABARD and the State Government in Dehradun, the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, released the State Focus Paper 2026-27 prepared by NABARD.
On this occasion, Honorable Minister of Cooperation Shri Dhan Singh Rawat; Shri Naresh Bansal, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha; Shri Khajan Das, MLA, Rajpur; Shri Saurabh Thapliyal, Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Dehradun; Shri Meherban Singh Bisht, Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Uttarakhand; Shri Pankaj Yadav, Chief General Manager, NABARD, etc., were present.
This document presents a comprehensive assessment of the credit potential for the state’s priority sectors, estimated at Rs 65,916 crore for the financial year 2026-27, which is 20.50% higher than the previous year.
Prepared on the basis of district-level Potential Linked Credit Plans (PLPs), this document is a roadmap for balanced agricultural and rural development, with a special focus on key sectors such as agriculture, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), infrastructure, and climate change initiatives. NABARD has reiterated its commitment to supporting the State Government in credit planning and developmental interventions for inclusive growth. The State Focus Paper will serve as a guiding document for banks and policymakers in finalizing the Annual Credit Plan (ACP) and preparing strategies for sustainable development.
On this occasion, the Honorable Chief Minister appreciated this effort by NABARD and inspired all stakeholders to integrate this document into the plans of various departments. NABARD, Uttarakhand Regional Office, Dehradun.
