| Approx 3.40 grams heroin like narcotics recovered by P/S Billawar; 1 drug peddler arrested | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 26: Continuing its crackdown against drug peddlers, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS recovered approx. 3.40 grams Heroine like narcotics in the jurisdictional area of PS Billawar and one drug peddler was arrested.
On dated 25/12/2025 a Police team of P/S Billawar led by SHO Billawar Insp Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SP Upper Kathua Sh Aamir Iqbal and SDPO Billawar Sh Neeraj Padyar established a special naka for checking of vehicles. During checking police team apprehended 01 person who later on disclosed his name as Bhushan Kumar S/o Des Raj R/o Dhanjasdhar Tehsil Ramkot District Kathua. During his personal search 3.40 grams of Heroine (chitta) like substance has been recovered from his possession. Thereafter all the recovered consignment of drugs (Approx. 3.40 Grams Heroin like Narcotics) got seized and one person arrested on spot.
In this regard a case FIR No. 183/2025 U/S 8/21/22/NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Billawar, further investigation is underway. |
