| Jora invites tourists to visit valley without fear | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, May 20-Impressing upon the domestic as well as international tourists to visit Kashmir and enjoy its beauty, the Minister for Tourism and Culture Nawang Rigzin Jora said the government has explored new tourist destinations for the benefit of tourist and also made all arrangements for a successful tourist season this year. The Minister said this while visiting a hotel here today. He interacted with a number of tourists and enquired about the facilities made available to them. The tourists appreciated the arrangements made by the government for their stay at various tourist destinations of the Valley. While talking to tourists, the Minister said a major up-gradation of tourist infrastructure is in offing shortly. The tourists assured the Minister that they would become ambassadors of Kashmir and convey that the Valley is safe as any other state in the country. The Minister while interacting with the representative of Heena Group of Tour and Travels, Mumbai, was apprised that the travel agency has facilitated visits of about 3,000 tourists from Mumbai during the last two months to the valley. Jora assured the tourists that the government has made arrangements of boarding and lodging and has explored various new tourist destinations for the benefit of the tourists. He asked the visitors to visit new spots like Doodpathri in Budgam district, Aharbal in Kulgam and Bangus in Kupwara and enjoy the natural beauty of Kashmir. Director Tourism, Kashmir, Farooq Ahmad Shah also accompanied the Minister during his visit.
