DODA, Dec 29: As part of its continued efforts to maintain public order and discipline in the district, Doda Police have secured a conviction under preventive provisions.
On December 28, 2025, a police party from Police Station Bhaderwah apprehended two individuals, namely Parminder Singh and Joginder Singh, who were found roaming in a drunken condition and creating public nuisance.
Both the individuals were produced before the Hon'ble Special Mobile Magistrate on 29.12.2025. After due legal proceedings, the Hon'ble Court imposed a fine of ?1,000 each upon them under Section 355 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). |
