| Two hardcore drug peddlers arrested, heroin recovered by Udhampur Police | | |

Jammu, Dec 30: Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking, Udhampur Police arrested two hardcore drug peddlers during naka checking.
A naka party of PS Udhampur led by its SHO at Jakheni naka point stopped one motorcycle bearing registration number JK14K-6221 for checking. During the personal search of the rider and pillion rider, 3.65 grams of heroin was recovered from Rohit Kumar S/o Raj Kumar R/o Chopra Shop, Udhampur and 2.33 grams of heroin was recovered from Vinod Kumar S/o Sumer Chand R/o Chopra Shop, Udhampur totaling 5.98 grams.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 432/2025 U/S 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered and further investigation of the case is underway.
