Slathia inaugurates ‘Coin Dispensing Machine’

Jammu, May 21 -Minister for Industries and Commerce, Labour, Employment and Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Mr. Surjit Singh Slathia has said that the Citizen Cooperative Bank (CCB) Ltd is playing pivotal role in providing home loans, car loans etc to people in easy and convenient manner.
This was stated by him while inaugurating ‘Coin Dispensing Machine’ in a branch of the bank in Vijaypur town of Samba district here this evening.
Mr. Slathia said that the management of the bank was making concerted efforts to provide better services to its clients and patrons of the region. He said that with the opening of ‘Coin Dispensing Machine’ in the town, the shopkeepers and passenger vehicles and other desirous people can get the required coins. He appealed the people to open their deposit accounts in the Citizen Cooperative Bank, Vijaypur and avail the benefit of the bank schemes. To cater the financial needs of all sections of the society, he said that the CCB branch was opened in Vijaypur town in 1996. He asked the Chairman of the bank to provide such type of facilities in other branches of the bank so that the people of others areas of the region can avail the benefits.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Citizen Cooperative Bank Ltd informed the Minister that the machine has been installed with the support of Reserve Bank of India which has provided 75% cost of the machine to the Bank. He said that online service in all branches of the Bank under core banking solution would be provided to people soon, the process of which has already been initiated. He said that the Citizens' Co-operative Bank is amongst the few banks in Cooperative Sector to work on thorough professional lines and extending personalized customer services.
Vice-Chairman CCB, Mr. Narinder Singh Choudhary, Directors of CCB Mr. Ram Sahai, Kailash Kumar Langer, Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta and Shashi Paul Vaid were also present.
