Mandi Gobindgarh, Jan 2 : Desh Bhagat University (DBU) celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm as international students from various countries came together to share the joy of the season and promote cultural harmony. The campus was beautifully decorated, reflecting the universal message of peace, love, and global unity.
The programme featured prayers, worship songs and a Bible exhortation delivered by Deacon J. Samuel Kamanda on the theme “The Power of Believing.” Students also presented melodious songs, adding vibrancy and warmth to the festive atmosphere.
University officials, including representatives from the Office of the Dr Zora Singh Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tarjinder Kaur, Dr Harsh Sadawarti Vice-Chancellor, Dr Surjit Kaur Patheja Director Performing Arts and Media extended Christmas greetings and lauded the enthusiastic participation of international students. Certificates of Appreciation were presented to acknowledge their contributions.
