Jammu, May 21-Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) Future of Gen-X Kashmiri Pandits, in its core group meeting held under the chairmanship of its President R. K. Bhat, has decided to launch a protest march to ‘Secretariat Challo Srinagar’ in early June, 2009 for not implementing the Prime Minister’s employment package for Kashmiri migrants. R. K. Bhat, speaking on the occasion, said that the new phase of our agitation will be a non stop one and the beginning will be made with a protest rally from Jammu to ‘New Secretariat Srinagar’ He assured the executive members that the long await is over now as the code of conduct has been lifted with the completion of election process in the entire country therefore the march to New Secretariat Srinagar is to remind the State Government that the slow poisoning of the KP community will not be allowed to continue. “The youth under the banner of YAIKS will fight to the finish and not take rest till our genuine demands of two decades, mainly employment share with seven years age relaxation, is implemented by the State Government” he said. Bhat said that enough is enough as dying silently in the camps and non camps is not benefiting the community of youth it is better to die as martyrs while fighting for the genuine cause. He directed his comrades to gear up for long drawn battle and prepare the carder till we reach our goal. He stressed it is better to work on pointed demands like the one employment package and maintained that the criminal silence on this issue by the State Government has crippled the youth and it will not allow to continue any more The meeting among others was addressed by Ramesh Bhat, J.L.Pandita, Manoj Handoo, Ajay Safaya, Sunil Hangloo, Pinkey Bhat, Sanjay Shashoo, Sunil Koul, Ashwani, Bineth, Sameer Ji, Vijay Ji, Rakesh and Ravinder Sharma.
