SRINAGAR, Jan 4: Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar today extended warm greetings to the people, especially Sikh community living in Jammu & Kashmir and across India on the auspicious occasion of Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. In his message, the Minister paid rich tributes to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, remembering him as a great spiritual leader, visionary reformer and the embodiment of courage and compassion. He described Guru Gobind Singh Ji as the eternal “Saint Soldier” whose life and teachings continue to inspire humanity to uphold truth, justice, equality and selfless service. “On this sacred occasion, I convey my heartfelt greetings to all Sikh brothers and sisters. The life and legacy of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji guide us to stand against injustice, protect the weak, and work for the welfare of society with unwavering faith and courage,” the Minister said. The Minister exhorted people, especially the younger generation, to follow the noble teachings and rich legacy of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, emphasizing unity, mutual respect and harmony among all communities. He also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity for Jammu & Kashmir and the nation as a whole. The Minister expressed hope that the Prakash Purb would further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and communal harmony and inspire everyone to contribute positively towards building an inclusive and just society.
