Prabhari Officer reviews Developmental Milestones achieved in Aspirational Block Khawas

RAJOURI, Jan 5: Prabhari Officer for the Aspirational Block Khawas, (Director MoRTH, Government of India) Harleen Kaur today chaired a comprehensive review meeting here at Dak Bungalow Rajouri to assess the progress achieved in the saturation of developmental indicators in the Aspirational Block Khawas.
District Development Commissioner, Abhishek Sharma welcomed the Prabhari Officer and presented a detailed PowerPoint presentation highlighting sector-wise progress, achievements, challenges and gap analysis of the Aspirational Block.
The meeting included a detailed review of the saturation of indicators pertaining to health, nutrition, education, agriculture and allied sectors, basic infrastructure and overall socio- economic development in the Block.
The Prabhari Officer emphasized the need for effective quarantine of TB patients, quality engagement with anganwadi workers and focused motivation of students through exposure visits to reduce dropout rates. Stress was also laid on introducing audio-visual smart classes, screening of motivational educational films in schools and branding of local products to enhance livelihoods.
She also underscored the importance of assessing and improving per capita income as a critical indicator of holistic development. The meeting also reviewed the progress of ongoing works being executed by the BRO on the Rajouri–Poonch National Highway.
Several short videos showcasing on-ground impact of the government schemes in Block Khawas were screened during the meeting, reflecting tangible improvements in service delivery and beneficiary outreach.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Prabhari Officer inspected stalls set up by different departments which showcased schemes, services and benefits being extended to the people of Block Khawas.
She appreciated the efforts of the district administration Rajouri, particularly in conducting effective gap analysis and adopting a focused, outcome-oriented approach for the development of the Aspirational Block.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Rajouri Malikzada; ADC Kotranka Dilmir, Sheraz ul Haq; PO ICDS, Harpal Singh; ACD, Auqil Naveed; Executive Engineer PDD, Abdul Rasheed; Executive Engineer PHE Sudesh Kumar; CEO Mohammadd Hafeez; CAO, BDO, CDPO and other district and sectoral officers.
