Jammu, Jan 6: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District Jammu South Media Secretary Rohiin Chandan has vehemently condemned the Congress party's persistent attempts to undermine India's strengthening bilateral ties with the United States by spreading misinformation and negative propaganda regarding Honb'le PM Narendra Modi's recent interactions with President Donald Trump. In a strong statement, Rohiin Chandan lambasted the Congress for making a complete mockery of itself through its baseless criticisms and petty politicking on matters of national interest and foreign policy. "The Congress party is desperately trying to belittle the Prime Minister's successful diplomacy with world leaders, including President Trump, but the Indian public is wise enough to see through their negative agenda," Chandan said. "The Congress party's foreign policy was marked by appeasement, weakness, and compromises on national interests. They had reduced India's global standing to a mere whisper," Chandan alleged. He pointed out that it was during the Congress-led UPA government that India faced several setbacks on the international stage, including the failure to secure a permanent seat at the UN Security Council. Such frivolous attacks will yield no results and will only lead to another humiliating defeat for the Congress in the upcoming elections. Chandan reminded the Congress that the people of India are fully aware of the ground realities and the remarkable progress made under Prime Minister Modi's leadership in elevating India's global stature. He highlighted how PM Modi's proactive engagement with President Trump has focused on mutual interests, including trade, defense cooperation, technology, and strategic partnerships, benefiting both nations and contributing to global stability. The Congress's tendency to engage in negative propaganda in response to India's diplomatic achievements reflects an anti-national mindset and frustration with the BJP's electoral success. Chandan noted that while Congress relies on mockery and baseless accusations, Prime Minister Modi has focused on India's interests globally, building strong relationships with leaders like President Trump to enhance energy security, counter-terrorism, and economic growth. Chandan further "showed the mirror" to the Congress, urging them to reflect on their own track record of weak foreign policy during their tenure, which often compromised national interests. "The public knows everything—from the Congress's failures in handling international relations to their current desperation. Attempts to distort facts about PM Modi's meetings or calls with President Trump will backfire spectacularly," he warned. He emphasized that India's relationship with the United States has reached new heights under PM Modi's vision, with enhanced cooperation in critical sectors that directly benefit Indian citizens. In contrast, Chandan accused the Congress of consistently undermining national unity and progress through divisive politics and spreading despair. "The electorate has repeatedly rejected the Congress's negativity, and they are headed for yet another crushing defeat. The people stand firmly with PM Modi and the BJP's agenda of development, security, and self-reliance," he declared.
