The programme was organised in collaboration with the District Administration Ramban and the ODOP Team- DPIIT and under the guidance of Managing Director JKTPO, Sudershan Kumar. The drive sought to empower local entrepreneurs, artisans, MSMEs and producer groups by imparting practical knowledge and resources that enables them to access global markets through exports and digital trade channels. The event began with a welcome address by Chief Planning Officer (CPO), Shakeeb Ahmad Rather- the Chief Guest. In his remarks, the CPO appreciated JKTPO's consistent outreach at the district level and its efforts to generate awareness about export opportunities and e-commerce integration among local enterprises. He highlighted Ramban's potential under the One District One Product (ODOP) and District as Export Hub (DEH) initiatives, particularly focusing on the district's unique organic produce, traditional crafts and agri-based products. He further emphasized the need for branding, packaging and effective market positioning to enhance the global visibility of local products. Subject experts and representatives from key organisations such as FIEO, ECGC and GeM delivered insightful sessions on export documentation, financing avenues, market linkages, risk coverage mechanisms and digital business opportunities. Participants were also guided through processes related to IEC registration, export financing, branding and GeM on-boarding, helping them understand how to leverage technology for market expansion and export growth.
