Jammu, Jan 8: As part of its ongoing community outreach efforts, the Indian Army interacted with the youth and upcoming generation of Tai Basti and Chigarhi villages, with the aim of guiding and motivating them towards a life of discipline, service and national pride. Army personnel engaged with the village youth in a warm and friendly environment, where they shared simple and clear information about the Agniveer Scheme and the opportunities it offered to join the Indian Army. The interaction focused on addressing queries, clearing doubts and encouraging the youth to consider a meaningful future in uniform. Through personal interactions and shared experiences, Indian Army personnel motivated the youth to remain disciplined, work hard and take pride in their village as well as the nation. The session helped build confidence, awareness and interest among the young participants towards serving the country. Such interactions reflected the Indian Army’s continued commitment to empowering local communities, mentoring the younger generation and strengthening the enduring bond between the Indian Army and the people.
