IFFCO J&K organized Field Day at the IFFCO Nano Model Cluster, Pounichak, village Trilokpur

JAMMU, Jan 8: Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) J&K (UT) organized Field Day at the IFFCO Nano Model Cluster, Pounichak, Village Trilokpur District Jammu in collaboration with Department of Agriculture.
The program was graced by officials from Agriculture department, including AEO Suman, SMS Surinder Kumar and SMM IFFCO J&K Shauqut Ahmad Bhat, all of whom highlighted the importance of farmers' welfare and the role of Nano technology in improving agricultural productivity.
Addressing the gathering, Suman (AEO), shared details about the various schemes of government ongoing in J&K for benefit of farmers.
In his address, Shauqut Ahmad Bhat, (SMM), spoke about IFFCO's commitment to farmer welfare. He highlighted IFFCO'S initiatives to connect farmers with the latest agricultural advancements and to provide them with high-quality inputs, fertilizers that are essential for growing healthy, robust crops. He elaborated on the role of Nano Fertilizers, stating that nano products such as Nano Urea and Nano DAP ensure higher nutrient use efficiency, reduced wastage, lower input cost, and improved crop yield. He added that nano formulations are eco-friendly and significantly reduce environmental pollution compared to conventional fertilizers.
The program was conducted by Vivek Verma, FO Jammu and also explained in detail the importance, dosage, and application methods of IFFCO Nano Fertilizers.
During the interaction session, farmers shared their experiences and success stories from the Kharif season, reporting improved yields, better crop health, and reduced dependency on conventional fertilizers after adopting nano fertilizers. Several farmers acknowledged the ease of application and cost-effectiveness of these products.
