Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 10: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu delivered an outstanding performance at the State Athletic Championship organised by the J&K Amateur Athletic Association, held on 20-21 December 2025 at the University of Jammu Synthetic Track. The Sanskritians brought laurels to the school with remarkable achievements in various athletic events. Akshita Verma clinched the Gold Medal in the Girls Under-18 Shot Put event, while Gaurav Sharma secured Gold in Javelin Throw. Vishav Pratap Singh Charak also emerged victorious by winning Gold in Discus Throw. Adding further glory, Yuvraj Singh put up an exceptional performance by winning three medals in the 60 m race, Long Jump, and Back Throw. The commendable success of the athletes came under the expert guidance of Coach Amardeep Singh. Congratulating the achievers, Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima appreciated the students for their discipline, perseverance, and dedication, stating that such accomplishments reflect the school's commitment towards excellence in sports alongside academics. The school also acknowledged the valuable support and encouragement extended by Yogesh Manhas, Head of Sports, and Avneet Kaur Budhraja, Vice Principal, whose coordination played a significant role in this achievement. |
