CEO conducts review meeting regarding preparedness of cultural items 1/10/2026 10:33:32 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 10: In view of the Republic Day Celebration-2026 function to be organized at MA Stadium, Jammu Chief Education Officer Jammu chaired a review meeting with Principals, Cultural incharges and choreographers of various Govt as well as Govt. Recognized Private schools of district Jammu. It is pertinent to mention that it is for the first time that options have been given to combine 2-3 schools in the close vicinity to prepare and present cultural items as per their feasibility. The combined items shall be presented with more than 400 students. HOIs of the schools were instructed to keep their songs/tracks ready by today evening so that the rehearsal shall start in all schools positively from Monday onwards. He further added that the final selection/shortlisting of cultural items shall be done by the team headed by Directorate of School Education Jammu, officials of Department of Culture and CEO Jammu in the next week.
