| One killed, 9 injured as vehicle overturns | | |

A 50-year-old man was killed and nine others from Gujjar community sustained injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and over turned near Kaluchak on Jammu-Kathua National Highway this morning.
The vehicle loaded with milk can was on way to Jammu from Bari Brahmana when it skidded off the road and overturned after its tyre burst near Purmandal Morh at Kaluchak, police said.
Police party along with passers by rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
The injured were rushed to the Government Medical College, Jammu where Rajpura resident Abdul Majid succumbed to injuries, police said. Condition of two persons was stated to be critical
