JAMMU, Jan 15: Considering the passenger rush and demand, the Jammu Division of Northern Railway has decided to extend the operation of Special Reserved Train No. 04081/04082. The operation of this special reserved train has been extended several times before, proving to be a better travel option for passengers compared to other trains. Recognizing the importance of this option, the operation of the special reserved train has been extended further.
Details of the extended train services are as follows:
Train Number 04081 New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (2 trips)
Previously scheduled period: 27 December to 10 January 2026
Extended period: 16 January and 17 January 2026 (only two trips)
Train Number 04082 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi to New Delhi (2 trips)
Previously scheduled period: 28 December to 11 January 2026
Extended period: 17 January and 18 January 2026 (only two trips)
