Army is really back bone of nation’s security

On the eve of 10th Armed forces Veterans Day Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha while addressing a large gathering at LG Rajouri Expresses his heart felt gratitude to the veterans and brave army soliders for always putting the safety of others above their own.
He was addressing commemorative event at Rajouri where he pay tribute to Ex service men, Veer Naris and their family members.
He further said that “Our Armed Forces” veterans are embodiment of living history and their sacrifices have not only safeguarded our freedom but also shaped the destiny of our great nation.
Saluting the resilience of army bravehearts and their love for the motherland, the Lieutenant Governor said the courage and sacrifice of army is the backbone of our nation’s security.
“Veterans are living role models for youth and guiding the nation with character, timeless values and selfless service. They are leading by example in everyday life. From safeguarding the nation to serving the society; our armed forces veterans continue to shape India’s future.
A mega Ex-Servicemen Rally was organised to mark the occasion. Motorised wheelchairs, retrofitted scooties and other mobility aids were also distributed to the veterans and veer naris.
He further added that Courage, sacrifice of Army is the backbone of over nation security.
As we are aware that our country is surrounded by enemies and the role of the army becomes more important to safeguard the security of the citizens of the country and they remain always alert to thwart the evil designs of external and internal enemies who are hell bent to create the chaos and Anarchy in the country.
Not only at borders, but during the natural calamites like floods, earthquake etc. Army jawans are being called by local administration to assist them, Recently we have seen army jawans building bridge over river tawi during floods in Jammu with in no time and has helped thousands of commuters to pass through the area.
Army is the sign of sacrifice and courage and has always kept tricolor high in the air.
