It is not hearsay nor an exaggeration but very much true that in today’s India her daughters the Narishakti is leading everywhere and they have left their imprint in all walks of life. Indian women and its daughters are excelling and leading in almost all spheres of social, political, economic, cultural life and in what not? Our country is proud of our daughters as they are assuming leadership roles and are leading our society and taking India to highest pinnacles of development and growth. In academics, business, politics, technology and digital revolution, daughter are next to none and they are unfolding wonderful results everywhere and they have made their name and fame and the nation is proud of her daughters. Daughters of India have made mark and identity in various fields of life and they are becoming engines of the country’s social, political, technological, scientific, entrepreneurial development and there is no field of activity, where women have not made their imprint, name and mark. With the Modi’s empowerment of women initiative and practical slogan, daughter are now excelling in all most all fields of life and the daughter have become an envy for all and women are becoming our role models. “Daughters of India” is a term used to describe the many achievements and leadership roles held by Indian women. It can refer to various initiatives and campaigns aimed at empowering and celebrating women, as well as individual women who have excelled in diverse fields. The term also appears in the context of a clothing brand that supports artisans and women’s empowerment in India. Initiatives like’’ Dhirubahi Ambani International School’s Daughters of India ‘’aim to highlight the contributions and inspire the next generation of Indian women. Indian women have achieved significant success in various fields, including politics, science, business, arts, and sports to mention a few due to the paucity of space. Figures like Indira Gandhi, Kalpana Chawala, and Krin Badi and many more women have left a lasting impact on Indian history. Many women are today leading in their respective fields, contributing to India’s progress. Daughter of India is a brand that focuses on creating clothing ethically and sustainably, supporting artisans and women in India. Generations after generations, strong, Intelligent. and determined women from across India, have made their mark around the world in varied fields from scientific research to cricket pitch with their stellar achievements inspiring a million more, But, pick up a book about the achievements of women in India or even our history books in school and you will mostly draw a blank. Ananya Deshmukh, an 8 yearold, studying at Dirubhai Ambani International School –Mumbai is trying to improve inclusivity and representation – in Indian role models. Her mission with Daughters of India weekly series of short videos, is to highlight Indian women from the past and the present who have achieved great feats. Women in India have been pioneers, innovators and trailblazers. Daughter of India like Lata Mangeshkar, Savitribai Phule, Chand Bibi, Indira Gandhi offer a Kaleidoscopic view of how vast and far-reaching the contributions of Indian women have been in diverse fields. In academics girls are attaining top positions in board examinations and have left for behind the boys and it is a great achievement of women in academics. .In business enterprise there are successful women entrepreneurs who have changed the course of their business and have become big and successful entrepreneurs and it is no mean development. Women have become business leaders as they have left big imprint upon Indian business and economy. In aeronautics ,engineering and air force, navy and army women have become leaders .More recently the daughters of India such as Cornel Sofiya Qurashi and Wing commander Vomika Singh have led India’s fight against Pakistan and these two women officers along with many others have made strikes at the very heart of Pakistan and they have broken all previous records. These two women officers of our defense forces were holding press conferences and briefings for the people and they have become the role models for numerous people. Girls have made their mark in the field of supports as well. In this respect the name of P.T. Usha who had made his mark in the sphere of sports is worth mentioning. Indian astronaut Shubanshu Shukla fly to International Space Mission on May 29, 2025. Indian astronaut Sunita Williams, spent nine months in space on the International Space Station –ISS and has since returned to Earth. Kalpana Chawala has made her name in India’s space exploration and she was the first Indian astronaut to have gone to space and she made a history and her name is remembered after her death as well. She has passed away grieving people in India especially the space fraternity. Indian women have become collectors, Supreme court judges, pilots, astronauts, scientists, IPS/IAS officers, ministers, chief ministers and prime minister in India and they have surprised people by their contributions to nation in varied fields. We are really proud of our Narishakti and they are the harbingers of peace, affection and goodwill in the society and are our inspirations. Women, are excelling in a wide array of fields demonstrating their capabilities and breaking down barriers across various sectors. From leadership roles in government and business to achievements in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics [STEM], and arts ,women are making significant contributions. Their impact is evident in diverse areas, including politics, education, medicine, and social activism. Women like Indira Gandhi, Pritaba Patil and now President Daropudi Murmu had made great imprint on the political canvass of India. Women are involved in shaping national and international policies, contributing to social, economic, and environmental issues. Women are driving innovation and research in various STEM disciples, from medicine and pharmaceuticals to computer science and aerospace. Women are becoming successful entrepreneurs, starting and growing businesses in various sectors and contributing to economic growth. More women are taking on leadership positions in corporate organizations, demonstrating their ability to manage complex businesses. Women are active in art and culture and are creating art, music, literature, and films that is shaping culture and sparking dialogue. Women are also involved in preserving and promoting cultural heritage, ensuring that traditions are passed down to future generations. Women athletes are consistently breaking records and demonstrating their physical abilities and athletic prowess in various sports. Women are next to none in social services, medicine & healthcare. Women are educators, researchers, and leaders in educational institutions shaping the future of the next generation. Women are making their voices heard in journalism and media both print and electronic creating important stories and shaping public discourse. To conclude one can say that many outstanding women have become our inspiration and it can be said that women have assumed the role and responsibility of leadership in varied fields.
