SUNDERBANI, Jan 16: The Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College Sunderbani organized a Symposium/Debate Competition on the occasion of National Youth Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on January 15, 2026. The event was aimed at inspiring youth to imbibe the values, ideals, and vision of Swami Vivekananda. Students from different semesters actively participated in the competition and showcased their oratory skills and intellectual understanding. After keen competition, Rohit Sharma secured the 1st position, Kanika Sharma bagged the 2nd position, and Priya Sharma achieved the 3rd position. All the winners belong to Semester 6th. Dr. Kuldeep Raj Sharma and Prof. Atal Bharati were jury member in the event. Dr. Umesh Paudel, Department of Sanskrit, shared insightful thoughts on the life, teachings, and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing his message of youth empowerment, self-confidence, and nation-building. The Principal of the College, Dr. Vandana Verma, congratulated the winners for their commendable performance and appreciated the efforts of all participants. |
