JAMMU, Jan 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday ordered the promotion of several Section Officers as Under Secretaries in the J&K Secretariat (Gazetted) Service-I, officials said. According to Government Order No. 73-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department, the promotions have been accorded on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee and the J&K Public Service Commission.
As per the order, the promoted officers have been placed in Pay Level-8 (?47,600-1,51,100), with effect from the dates indicated against their names. Those promoted include Ramesh Kumar Bhat, Kuldeep Raj (SC), Ramesh Kumar Raina-I, Rajesh Kumar Sapolia, Salochina Koul, Pardeep Singh Samyal, Ayub Farooq Bhat, Nusrat Shah, Rajinder Kumar, Sham Lal and Ishwar Dutt.
The government clarified that the promotions shall remain subject to the outcome of any writ petitions, if pending, before the competent courts of law. |
