Early Times Report HIRANAGAR, Jan 16: Government Girdhari Lal Dogra College (GDC), Hiranagar once again demonstrated its growing academic and innovative footprint as a dynamic team of students Ms. Chinmay Sharma, Ms. Shavi Sharma, Mr. Mohit Sharma, and Mr. Rajan Sharma successfully participated in the Level III (Final) Presentation of AgriThon 2.0, held at the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J). After qualifying the highly competitive Level I and Level II rounds, the team presented a well-researched, innovative problem statement along with a practical and sustainable solution, addressing contemporary challenges in the agricultural sector. The team worked under the able guidance of Dr. Harvinder Kour and Dr. Raman Kumar from the Department of Botany, whose mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping the students' ideas into a competitive research-driven presentation. AgriThon 2.0, launched in July 2025, is a prestigious national-level initiative aimed at fostering innovation, problem-solving, and preparedness to meet emerging challenges in agriculture.
