POONCH, Jan 16: In a significant success against crime and absconders, District Police Poonch has arrested an absconder who had been evading arrest for the past 13 years.
The arrested absconder has been identified as Mohd Arshad S/o Faiz Hussain R/o Mahra, Tehsil Surankote. He was declared an absconder in FIR No. 65/2013, registered under Sections 341/323 RPC at Police Station Surankote.
Acting on sustained efforts and credible inputs, a police team from Police Station Surankote successfully traced and apprehended the accused. After completing all legal formalities, the arrested absconder was produced before the Hon'ble Court of law.
District Police Poonch reiterates its firm commitment to bringing absconders and offenders to justice and emphasizes that no criminal will be allowed to evade the law. The general public is urged to continue cooperating with the police by sharing any information related to criminal activities. |
