| Guest Lecture held in Taawish College of Education | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 23: To enlighten the students the State Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides organized an extension lecture at Taawish College of Education for regular B. Ed students.
LD. Soni, State Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides who was the resource person gave a lecture on Non-Formal Education to generate education in values in a most useful and lasting manner. According to Soni Non-formal Education is a complement to Formal Education. In fact Non-Formal Education is a part of the Education and the most important part of Formal Education, he added.
The Chairperson of T.S. Educational Institution, Pooja Malhotra while welcoming Soni stressed the need of healthy physical environment to the students and also to cater to the needs of modem society. In T.S. the emphasis is on the all round development of the students, she added.
The Principal of the College Dr. Raj Kumar presented vote of thanks.
