JAMMU, MAY 23: Senior leaders of Pradesh congress Committee have hailed the decision of Congress high command inducting former chief minister of the state and general secretary of AICC Ghulam Nabi Azad in the Union Council Ministers. In a statement PCC leader congratulated Azad for his insertion in the union cabinet. Leaders also congratulated president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh for including senior congress leader from the state beside Azad has also served the nation and the party right from his college days in many capacities.
Signatories to the statement are S. Gurmukh Singh, Yashpal Khajuria, S Parduman Singh, Vinod Sharma, S. Amolak Singh, Shah Mohd. Choudhary, Baldev Sharma, Darshan Raina, Krishan Lal Gupta, Chaman Jain, Bharat Gandhi, Ramesh Gupta, Ved Prakash and Bhagat.
In a meeting of Pradesh Youth Congress chaired by Pawan Raina, Senior vice president of PYC express deep sense of gratitude to expressed to Sonia Gandhi, President AICC and Chairperson UPA and Prime Minster Dr. Manmohan Singh for the induction of Ghulam Nabi Azad in union cabinet. His induction in the union cabinet will benefit our state. He also appreciated untiring efforts of Rahul Gandhi in land slide victory of Congress party in election of 2009.
