BUDGAM, Jan 20: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, today chaired a meeting of the District Telecom Committee (DTC) to review issues related to the installation of mobile towers and overall telecom infrastructure development in the district. The meeting focused on addressing public grievances, streamlining inter-departmental coordination, and facilitating the expeditious implementation of telecom projects, including the USOF 4G Saturation Project in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. During the meeting, the DC emphasized the importance of robust telecom connectivity for governance, emergency services, education and economic activities.
He directed all concerned departments to extend timely clearances and cooperation to telecom service providers, while strictly adhering to safety, environmental and regulatory norms.
