| Trading community fumes over depleted condition of roads | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MAY 23 : Representatives of Business Community of Jammu City along with Residents of different localities called on Ram Sahai, President Chamber of Commerce & Industry to express their anguish about the very bad condition of the Roads of main Bazaars and lanes of almost the entire city.
The delegation said despite the fact the concerned agencies have received the funds for the repairs and relaying the said roads yet no step is being taken for undertaking the work of repairs and restoration of the damaged areas.
They added this has resulting into great hardships and un-bearable pollution in the entire city due to which people have started suffering from Asthma, Bronchitis and Chest congestion etc.
Members asked Mr. Sahai to take up the matter with the Chief Minister and Minister Concerned for issuing immediate orders to the concerned departments for completing the restoration works on top priority under time bound schedule failing which the problem may take the shape of epidemic. President CCI Jammu assured the members that Chamber will take up with the appropriate authorities at all levels for expediting the work so that people could get relief from this menace.
