| JU VC Xl defeats Punjab VC Xl | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MAY 23 : The University of Jammu in a tough T-20 Cricket match defeated Punjab University Cricket team by 3 wickets in the league match of T-20 all India Vice Chancellor’s Cup held in Mumbai University today.
After winning the toss Punjab VC Xl opted to bat first and set a target of 132 in 20 overs. In reply JU VC Xl achieved the target in 19th over thus giving befitting defeat to VC Xl Punjab
From JU side Amit Targotra scored 43 in just 27 balls while as Daud Iqbal Baba (Vice Captain) and Vishal Sudan scored 17 runs each. Now the JU VC XI will play against Ajmeer on May 25
