UDHAMPUR, Jan 23: Police team of Police Station Rehambal while performing routine naka checking at Phalata Naka, Rehambal, intercepted a taxi bearing Registration No. JK01BC/0140 coming from Jammu towards Srinagar.
During checking, one person identified as Shahid Mushtaq S/o Mushtaq Ahmed R/o Kammarwari, Tehsil Bemina, District Srinagar was found travelling in the said vehicle. On his personal search, 10.50 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, FIR No. 15/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal and further investigation is in progress. |
