VIJAYPUR, Jan 24: Government Degree College (GDC) Vijaypur organized a pledge ceremony on the eve of National Voters' Day under the banner of "150 Years of Vande Mataram" to promote democratic values and electoral awareness among students.
The programme was conducted under the leadership of Principal Dr. Ashu Vashisht. Dr. Vashisht highlighted the significance of National Voters' Day and emphasized the role of young citizens in strengthening democracy through informed, ethical, and responsible voting.
She further underlined that observing the occasion under the banner of 150 Years of Vande Mataram reflects the spirit of patriotism, unity, and commitment towards the nation. The pledge encouraged participants to uphold democratic traditions, exercise their voting rights fearlessly, and contribute to the nation-building process.
