Bhalwal, Jan 24: NHPC, in collaboration with SSRDP, organized a Republic Day celebration at Government Higher Secondary School, Rabta, Jammu, with the aim of promoting patriotism, unity, and community participation among students and local residents. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of large number of students, staff and villagers, reflecting strong community involvement. A Unity Procession was organized during which students raised patriotic slogans such as “Jai Hind” and “Vande Mataram”, creating an atmosphere filled with national pride. Various cultural and competitive activities including dance, singing, painting, and slogan writing competitions were conducted on the theme National integration and unity, with students from different classes actively showcasing their talents. Certificates were distributed to participating students to encourage and motivate them. On the occasion, Mr. Savinder Gupta, Coordinator from SSRDP, delivered a motivational address, inspiring students to uphold patriotic values and actively contribute towards the welfare of the community and the nation. School Principal Monidipa Bhattacharjee and coordinator Karuna Bajaj thanked and appreciated the efforts of NHPC and SSRDP for conducting the Republic Day celebration and unity procession in such far flung area. They also assured full cooperation from the school in such future initiatives. Teachers, students, and villagers also appreciated NHPC’s initiative and emphasized the importance of such programs in nurturing national values and social harmony. The Republic Day celebration concluded successfully, strengthening the bond between the school and the local community and reinforcing the spirit of unity and nationalism. |
