SRINAGAR, Jan 25: Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar, today extended greetings to the citizens on the occasion of National Voters’ Day 2026, being observed across the country under the theme “My India, My Vote – Citizen at the Heart of Indian Democracy.” In his message, the Minister conveyed special greetings to the young and first-time voters, emphasizing their crucial role in strengthening the democratic fabric of the nation. “The right to vote is not merely a constitutional privilege; it is a solemn duty and a powerful instrument to shape the future of our nation,” asserted the Minister.
