Udhampur, Jan 25: During naka checking duty near Dudhar Bridge, Roun Domail, Police team of PS Udhampur intercepted one suspicious person coming from Manwal towards Udhampur.
On questioning, the person disclosed his identity as Bhopesh Pagetra @ Vishu S/o Om Parkash R/o Near Women College, Kallar, Tehsil & District Udhampur
During his personal search, 5.74 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, FIR No. 24/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation into the matter has been taken up.
