Quiz competition organise under the Aegis of Pariksha Pe Charcha

Jammu, Jan 25: Kendriya Vidyalaya, Central University of Jammu organised a vibrant and intellectually stimulating Quiz Competition at the Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, Central University of Jammu, under the flagship national initiative Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, aimed at promoting a stress-free, joyful, and holistic learning environment among students.
The programme was graced by the august presence of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu and Chairman, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. The occasion was further dignified by the presence of esteemed Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) members, whose encouragement and guidance added great value to the programme.
The quiz competition, based on the theme “Operation Sindoor,” witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who displayed remarkable knowledge, analytical ability, and team spirit. The event featured a video presentation on Operation Sindoor, followed by a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test, organised under the combined observance of Parakram Diwas and the 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026. The competition successfully fostered patriotism, national awareness, and a spirit of courage among students, reinforcing values such as resilience, leadership, and informed citizenship while aligning academic learning with national ethos.
The programme was conducted in an atmosphere of curiosity, healthy competition, and positive engagement. It not only enhanced the cognitive skills of students but also nurtured confidence, presence of mind, and collaborative learning. Teachers played an active role in guiding and motivating the participants, ensuring a constructive and encouraging environment throughout the event.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Sanjeev Jain lauded the commendable efforts of the organising team and emphasised the importance of adopting a balanced approach towards examinations. He reiterated that academic success must go hand in hand with emotional well-being, resilience, and holistic development of students.
The programme concluded with the declaration of results followed by a formal vote of thanks proposed by the Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Central University of Jammu. The event left a lasting impression on the participants, inspiring them to pursue their academic goals with confidence, optimism, and a positive mindset. Such initiatives reaffirm the institution’s unwavering commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals in alignment with the objectives of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026.
