| ‘Naya Savera’ in J&K | | | Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in his Republic Day speech listed the achievements of the government, paid rich tributes to martyrs and victims of terrorism, natural calamities and thanked the armed forces for protecting the country.
He said a “Naya Savera” (new dawn) has broken out in Jammu and Kashmir, with strong measures taken to eliminate terrorism and provide comprehensive support to families affected by terror-related violence. He announced that all pending terrorism-related killing cases will be re-examined to ensure justice. Saluting the courage and bravery of security forces, LG Sinha said, “ Operation Sindoor sent a clear message to the world that terrorism will not be tolerated under any circumstances.”
LG Sinha also highlighted the steps that have been taken during the past few years to put Jammu and Kashmir on the path of peace and prosperity.
