DBU becomes first in India to partner with NeeevAI for Industry-Integrated AI Education

MANDI GOBINDGARH, Jan 28: Desh Bhagat University (DBU), a NAAC A+ accredited multidisciplinary institution, has achieved a national milestone as the first university in India to forge an academic-industry partnership with NeeevAI, a division of Orangeshark AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd. This collaboration delivers industry-integrated, globally benchmarked Artificial Intelligence education.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on the DBU campus by Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Arjun Singh Bedi, Founder of NeeevAI, in the presence of Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh.
This strategic alliance blends real-world industry practices with international academic standards. It equips B.Tech CSE (Artificial Intelligence) students with hands-on AI training, global research mentorship, and innovation-driven experiences.
The signing ceremony featured NeeevAI's senior global leadership: Dr. Arjun Singh Bedi (Founder; PhD in AI; 24+ years at Google, Microsoft, Airbnb); Mr. Laurent Jary (Co-Founder & COO; 28+ years at Dell and Airbnb); Mr. Shikhar Dubey (Co-Founder & CTO; 15+ years in blockchain and crypto); and Mr. Shivender Sofat (Co-Founder & Head of Corporate Governance; CA/CPA; 30+ years in New York, USA). DBU was represented by Dr. Khushboo Bansal, Deputy Director - Engineering, and senior faculty. "Desh Bhagat University stays ahead of the curve," said Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh. "As the first in India to partner with NeeevAI, we recommit to future-ready education, global exposure, and industry integration. AI is reshaping every sector-this alliance arms our students with global skills, ethical foundations, and innovative expertise."
