NEW DELHI, Jan 28: Eminent theatre director, Padma Shri awardee, and former Cultural Diplomat of India, Shri Balwant Thakur, called on the Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, at his official residence in New Delhi today. He also lauded the Ministry of Culture's Republic Day tableau, "Swatantrata Ka Mantra: Vande Mataram," which emerged as one of the most compelling presentations of the parade, seamlessly integrating tradition, innovation, and national pride.
Shri Thakur further congratulated the Hon'ble Minister for successfully hosting the world's largest international theatre festival in India through the National School of Drama, describing it as a landmark moment for Indian theatre and global cultural exchange.
