RAJOURI, Feb 2: The District Level Task Force Committee meeting under Jammu Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP), was today convened by the J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board Rajouri at its office for selection of the candidates who have applied for financial assistance to establish different types of Micro Industrial units under Manufacturing, Service & trading sector. The meeting was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner Malikzada Shaerazul Haq and attended by District Officer KVIB Sameer Ahmed, Lead District Manager J&K Bank, Cluster Head JKB, Director JKB RSETI, representatives from DIC and Area Manager JKGB. The Additional District Development Commissioner emphasized adherence to the parameters and laid down norms of the Scheme while screening the applicants. “Only projects having good potentiality and viability with area specific approach shall be considered under the schemes,” he stressed. The District officer KVIB placed a list of 64 candidates before the Committee. Each candidate was interviewed by the committee to assess the experience, technical knowhow and viability of the projects. 'The Committee after considering all related aspects of the scheme, selected 30 proposals, involving project cost of Rs.235.00 Lakh with the margin money component of Rs.82.25 Lakh. The proposed projects are expected to generate employment opportunities for about 180 persons. |
