JAMMU, Feb 4: On the 6th day of the NSS Winter Camp, GDC Nagrota organized an extension lecture on Cybersecurity and Cyber Crime. The programme was conducted in continuation of the ongoing winter camp activities. Prof. Shakti Prakash, Head of the Department of Computer Science, was the resource person on the occasion. He elaborated on the various dimensions of cybersecurity and highlighted different methods used by fraudsters to trap innocent people. He also guided the students on how to safeguard themselves from cyber frauds and emphasized the importance of staying alert and aware of cyber crimes in today's digital world. The NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme and clarified their doubts during the interactive session. The entire programme was efficiently managed by Prof. Dinesh Singh. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks presented by Prof. Jaspal Singh. |
