JAMMU, Feb 4: Wazir Janki Nath Memorial Higher Secondary School and Fairyland Nursery & KG School celebrated their Annual Day today with great enthusiasm and splendour. The occasion was graced by Dr. Yasir Hamid Sirwal, Deputy Director Academics, J&K Board of School Education, who presided over the function as the Chief Guest.
The students presented a vibrant cultural programme highlighting several pressing social issues such as the menace of excessive social media usage, environmental concerns, and social responsibility through thought-provoking skits, melodious songs, and energetic dance performances. The programme was meaningful, informative, and deeply engaging. Through these performances, messages of unity in diversity and love for the nation were beautifully conveyed.
While addressing the gathering, Dr. Sirwal sensitively spoke to parents and students about the National Education Policy and the growing concern of drug abuse among youth, urging collective responsibility in shaping a healthy and progressive society.
