| 2 dead, 3 injured in road mishaps | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar May 25:
Two persons died and three others were injured in different road accidents in Valley, police said and ded it has registered cases in matter.
Police said one person whose motorcycle (JKO1G-9836) skidded off the road at Rawalpora and hit an electric pole. The injured identified as Showkat Hussain Shah s/o Abdul Rashid r/o Lalpora Kupwara though was rushed to SKIMS Soura but he succumbed to his injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Another Scooterist (MHI2DV-8932) skidded off the road at KP road near Punjab National Bank Anantnag. Injured namely Omer Nissar Kadoo s/o Nissar Ahmad r/o Mominabad Anantnag succumbed to his injuries.
Two persons were injured when a Maruti Car (JK01D-6964) hit a Motorcycle near Zainpora hospital in Shopian district. Both injured namely Khursheed Ahmad Paul s/o Shaban r/o Khuranpora and Shaban Paul s/o Ali Mohammad were hospitalized. Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident a Tipper (JK13-3088) hit one person namely Javed Ahmad Dar s/o Jalal-ud-Din r/o Kanbugh Anantnag at Kadalbal Pampore. The injured was hospitalized. Police has registered a case in this regard.
