| Docs hold protest against PDD | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 25
Doctors of the GMC hospital held protest demonstration against the Power Development Department alleging regular curtailments of the power causing interruption in their studies. Students of the Post Graduate hostel blocked the hospital road and raised anti government and PDD slogans alleging interruption in their studies due to the un necessarily power cuts that too on the time when their examinations are on. Cursing the government they said that they are providing only twelve hour’s power and during night whole hostel complex wear darkness. The protest which went on two hours made the traffic jamming. Senior police officers and Congress leader Surinder Singh Shingari pacified them with the assurance that their demands would be met soon.
