Ptti vijaypur organizes one day seminar on first Aid

VIJAYPUR, Feb 7: Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur organized “One day Seminar/ Practical Training on First Aid” at the Institute under the Health is Wealth initiative, in collaboration with the NGO, “THE-SARA”. The Programme was inaugurated by Sh. Ranjit Singh Sambyal, IPS, Principal PTTI Vijaypur with the objective of enhancing awareness and practical knowledge among staff and trainees regarding the importance of timely First Aid during man-made and natural disasters. On the occasion Dr. Itinder Pal Singh Bali, National Master Trainer on First Aid and Dr. Raminder Jit Singh, Director, THE-SARA delivered an in-depth lecture on “First Aid management”. The session was attended by around 200 trainees and staff members of the Institute. The expert faculty also conducted hands-on demonstrations, covering vital life-saving techniques such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), identification and management of fractures, burns and introduction to the psychological first Aid approach. The Principal expressed his sincere gratitude to the visiting experts for sparing their valuable time and sharing their expertise. Besides trainees, all the staff members of the Institute actively participated in the awareness programme, making the event highly informative and impactful.
