| Class 10th Result : 55.01% Passed , Girls outshine boys | | Akshay tops at 98.20 % , 166 students share 20 positions | | Munish Gupta JAMMU, May 25: A record 166 students shared 20 positions in secondary class examination results declared this evening by the Board of School Education (BOSE). Again, girls dominated merit list by securing 123 positions as compared to boys who secured 43 positions. Akshay Mahajan from Kristu Jyoti Convent School emerged as topper among 57682 students, who appeared for the examination taking 491 marks out of a total of 500 (98.20 per cent). With just two marks shot, Ruchi Gupta of Adarsh Pal Jyoti H/S Gandhi Nagar followed him with second top slot. At 486 marks, Shivang Gupta of Model Academy, BC Road and Anchal Deep Singh of Montesoori Nargis Dutt Public Higher Secondary school jointly clinched third position. Pass percentage in the exams stood at 55.01%. Monika Sharmaof Adarshpal Jyoti H/S Gandhi Nagar and Rohima Mahajan of Calvary Mission Samba had the distinction of securing fourth position with 485 marks. While the 5th postion went to Divya Jyoti of Mahraja Hari Singh School. Five students had the honours of bagging sixth position taking 483 marks. They include Ishan Gupta of Model Academy School, Sumriti Gupta of ST Francis Akhnoor, Adtya Mahajan of National Academy Higher Secondary School , China Magotra of Little Flower and Bishap Pratap Singh of Krishtu Jyoti Convent Higher Secondary School Seventh position went to six students—Sonali Pargal , Surbhi Pargal and Himani Aggarwal all of them the students of Carnmel Convent HSS School, Shivani Bharti of Model Academy , Deepanshu Pandita of St Xavier Convent H/S , Paranav Sharma of Montesori Nargis Dutt Public School and Ravneet Kour of Christ School Poonch. With 481 marks,Kaniuka Manwa of Carmel Convent , Kanika Mahajan of Oriental Academy , Abhishekh Sadhu and Rohit Bhat of St Xavier Convent , got eighth position. Again at a mark less (480), seven students clinched ninth position. They are Archana Talwar of Oriental Academy , Veenuka Sharma of Vishav Bharti H/S , Arushi Jandyal of Fatima Conbvent H/S School, Mehak Mahajan of Bhagwati Shiksha Mandir , Divya Bhadwal of Little Angle H/S , Radhika Anand of Christ H/S and Bhanu Partap Singh of kristu Jyoti Copnvent School . Nancy Bhat of St Josephs Convent School and Vishali Sharma of Govt H/S Laiter shared 10th rank. Securing478 marks, six students shared eleventh position. They were Disha Gupta of SD Tarapuri H/S , Poonam Kartar Singh of Oriental Academy , Shivani Misri of Model Academy , Narmita DShar of Navyug Higher Secondary School, Ansghul Mahajan of Spring Dales English School and Neeraj Badyal of Kristu Jyoti Convent H/S . 12th position went to twelve students —Saniya Arora and Palvi Gupta of Carmel Convent, Pallavi Gupat of Regional Research Lab, Shruti Gupta of Light House, Avni Singh and Sugandha Verma of Shangrilla Higher Secondary School,Neha Salaria of Indira Public School, Nidhi Kohli of Dream Land, Nikit Rai of St Xavier Convent School, Ashwani Chaudhary of Montesori Nargis Dutt Public School, Avneet Kour and Eshmeet Sudan of Christ School

Securing 475 marks, fifteen students were successful to bag 14th position.
