| Inter district u/19 volleyball tourney kicks off | | | Early Times Reporter

Jammu spikers registered a comprehensive 2-0 win over Kupwara by 25-21 and 25-23 in the opening match of the state level Inter District Volleyball tournament for U/19 boys and girls commenced at M.A. stadium and Youth Hostel ground Nagrota here today.
The girls' matches are being played at Youth Hostel ground Nagrota. Eleven districts in boys section while eight districts in girls section are participating in the tournament organized by the department of Youth Services and Sports under the overall supervision of S.S. Bali Assistant Director Youth Services and Sports and B.N. Bhatt District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu and also the organizing secretary of the tournament. Earlier, the tournament was declared open by S.S. Bali and B.N. Bhatt in a simple function held at Youth Hostel ground Nagrota. Thereafter, they also visited M.A. stadium the venue for boys matches. |
