| Mela Kheer Bhawani | | ARMRSS finalize all arrangements | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 26: For the smooth celebration of ‘Kheer Bhawani Mela’, which falls on May 31, the organizing committee ARMRSS under the chairmanship of its Pradhan R.L. Dhar reviewed the arrangements made for the day at the sanctum sanctorum of the peeth, Bhawani Nagar, Jammu here today.
In the meeting it was decided to approval the concerned departments viz. Jammu Municipal Corporation, PHE, PDD, Traffic Department, Fire Services and Health for making elaborate and adequate arrangements for the convenience of the parties, particularly in respect of smooth movement of traffic, medical aid, drinking water, sanitation of the area and uninterrupted power supply.
He said ‘Jaisht Ashtami’ is a auspicious festival as hindus in J&K especially of Kashmiri Pandits, therefore, in order to facilitate the Yatries many committee and sub committee have been constituted for providing all basic facilities to t he yatries.
Arti will be offered at 7.15 P.M. Alll the devotees of the divine mata are requested to visit at the Peeth and seek the blessing of the divine mother.
