| Govt, Shrine boards callous attitude toward stranded yatries | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 26: To get first hand information and the facilities provided to stranded passengers and yatries due to on going unrest in Punjab, a high level delegation of Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) led by Dimple Kohli today visited Jammu railway station. As per press release the deputation was shocked when yatries complainted against the administration who had done a little for the stranded yatries. There was long queues in the bright sun for the food, which was being distributed by the langers run by different organizations. The delegation even meet the officials of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board to know about the arrangement being done by the Board for the stranded yatris but to their surprise, no arrangement is done for the yatries who only have came here to have darshan of Mata and these yatries offer the lot of donation to Shrine Board. And when they need the help, the same Board is showing callous attitude towards these stranded yatries. Even no one except the DC Jammu and some senior police officer visited the station to see the condition of the stranded yatries/ Passangers. Where is the Govt. why it cannot provide the facilities to the yatries/ passengers while it get good income from these yatries. Dimple said that the Govt. should construct Yatri Bhawans to tackle such situation so that free food and free accommodation can be provided when even needed to the stranded yatries / passengers as they contribute a lot to state economy. Shiv Sena Hindustan leaders Rajiv Mahajan, Vikas Dewan, Shiv Kumar, Rakesh Kak, Rajan Gupta were other leaders who also visited the railway Station.
