HPS hosts a grand farewell for class 12th students

JAMMU, Feb 11: Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan organised a grand and memorable Farewell Ceremony for the outgoing students of Class XII, Session 2025-26, on the school campus. The programme was conducted with great enthusiasm, emotions and vibrant cultural performances.
The event began with a traditional floral welcome and tikka ceremony performed by the students of Class XI along with the Hr. Sec. teachers, warmly receiving the outgoing students and dignitaries. The welcome address was delivered by Harjeet Kour, student of Class XI.
The ceremonial lamp lighting was performed by Principal Mr. Gaurav Charak and Vice Principal Mrs. Anku Charak. They were joined by Admin Incharge Mr. Akashdeep Raina, Hr. Sec. Incharge Mr. Parsidh Singh Billowria, Senior Wing Incharge Ms. Namrata Sharma, Primary Wing Incharge Mrs. Vandana Sharma, Pre Primary Wing Incharge Mrs. Aparna Billowria, IT Incharge Er. Varinder Kumar and Sports Incharge Mr. Mahan Singh. The ceremony marked the formal commencement of the programme.
Students captivated the audience with vibrant performances including a solo dance by Jasbir Kour of Class XI A, solo dances by Prachi of Class XI and Sunny of Class XII, and a melodious solo song by Harpreet Singh of Class XI. Western, Bollywood and Punjabi group dances added great charm and energy to the celebration. A heartfelt poem was recited by Raksha Karloopia of Class XII, expressing gratitude and emotions on behalf of the outgoing batch.
A special ramp walk was organised for the students of Class XII. Out of the participants, a few students were shortlisted for the title rounds. The contest for Mr. and Miss Humanity was conducted in two rounds. The first round included Introduction along with Ramp Walk, and the second round was the Questionnaire Round where finalists showcased their intelligence, confidence and presence of mind.
The titles were awarded as follows: Mr. Humanity Prince Saini XII A, Miss Humanity Manyata Billowria of class XII C, Mr. Charming Shubam Singh of class XII A and Miss Elegant Bhumika Angural of class XII A. Other titles such as Best in Regularity and Discipline, Best in Sincerity and All Rounder were also conferred upon students for their outstanding qualities. Mementoes were distributed to students of Science, Commerce and Arts streams as a token of love and remembrance.
Principal Mr. Gaurav Charak addressed the gathering with inspiring words and extended his best wishes to the students for their bright future. The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Head Girl Manyata Billowria. A special lunch was arranged for the students and staff members, making the occasion even more memorable.
The farewell ceremony proved to be a perfect blend of tradition, celebration and emotions, leaving behind cherished memories for the outgoing students as they step into a new journey of life.
